Host Application - Borderlands Produce Rescue
Want Borderlands' Produce On Wheels With Out Waste to your community? We are now accepting applications from community organizations. This is the first time we solicit hosts; please complete this form and we will be in touch with you.

We are produce rescue; each year we rescue between 30 to 40 million pounds of produce that would have otherwise been sent to the landfill. The produce we rescue has been rejected for a variety of reasons, often simply cosmetic. Through community partnerships we host P.O.W.W.O.W. market locations where community supporters can donate $15 to support our work, and take home up to 70lbs of produce. We are not a food bank - our mission is reducing food waste and saving the planet.

If you are selected as a host location you will hold 1 Produce Rescue market each month (1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th Saturday of month). We want host locations that can supply their own volunteers, and will follow all of Borderlands' policies and procedures. We require 1 year (November - June) commitment from all locations. All host locations are expected to operate rain or shine, holidays included!
