Stories of Bridging Differences and Building Unity
At a time when our country feels so divided, we need to uplift stories of people coming together across lines of difference to build relationships, collaborate, and prove all the ways that we are stronger together as Americans than we are apart. While stories like this are playing out everyday in all sectors of our society, rarely do they make headlines. Instead stories of division, hatred, violence, and "othering" inundate our newsfeeds, furthering the toxicity and hopelessness surrounding polarization. We need a strong counter-narrative to be a catalyst for change and inspiration of hope.

*Informed Consent: Authors of the stories will be involved in co-creating and approving all final drafts of their story prior to notification of publication and dissemination. Authors may withdraw their story from the project at any point prior to publication. Authors will be credited by name for their stories within the final materials produced (unless anonymity is requested).
