This sewing scholarship is deemed for potential sewists who are in financial need. This scholarship is for those in which classes/workshops would not be possible without financial support. Please fill out the form below and email the related criteria for consideration.

Write at least a two to three paragraph statement or 60-90 second video/audio recording addressing 1.) Your need for a partial or full scholarship for sewing related classes 2.) Include reasons you’re  starting this sewing journey 3.) Your unique sewing goals. Please add statement here or send via email to whatsshecreating@gmail.com. If emailing Include name and the words “Sewing Scholarship” in the Subject line. Scholarship will not be considered if statement or recording is not uploaded or emailed.

Applicants are required to perform the following actions in order to keep scholarship terms:
1. Attend all monthly, weekly or daily classes. If participant misses a class then scholarship may be cancelled and given to another participant.
2. Assist instructor with minor clean up or break down at the end or at the start of class.
3. Be willing to volunteer for at least one no-cost/low cost community sewing related workshop as needed by instructor.
