'26-'27 CME PTO Volunteer Opportunities
We are able to do so many events and fundraisers for our school because of the wonderful volunteers we have. If you are interested in helping our efforts, please indicate the areas you would like to help us with this year.

FUNDRAISERS - We organize and execute two main fundraisers each year.  These fundraisers are what enable us to support teacher grants, help improve the school, support educational enrichment and so much more. Volunteer possibilities for these include planning what type (for the spring fundraiser), reaching out to the community for donations or sponsorships, setting up the event, help during the event and clean up after.

FAMILY EVENTS - We hold many different family and school community events throughout the year.  These are some of the most fun things we plan and the children always have so much fun during them! Volunteer possibilities for these include planning and choosing the type of the event, collecting donations or supplies, set up, help during the event, and clean up after (daughter event, son event, breakfast with students, etc.).

TEACHER/STAFF APPRECIATION - These are the small and big ways we show our staff how much we love them and appreciate all they do for our kids.  Volunteer opportunities for these include bringing food for conference meals or appreciation breakfasts, "chalking" the walk before big events, managing the SCRIPs card gifts, helping plan Teacher Appreciation Week, decorating the lounge and so much more!

YEARBOOK/PHOTOGRAPHY - Help us document and share the great memories we make over the school year (taking pictures in the classroom & events, collecting them, yearbook planning, etc).

SCHOOL BEAUTIFICATION - These are the small and big ways we show pride in our school grounds (repainting the circular benches out front as needed, helping with the garden, participating in planning of outdoor classrooms/areas, repainting items on the blacktop, adding/removing window decals, etc).

BOOK FAIR(S) - This year our wonderful librarian, Mrs Troxel, has moved to a part time position, so planning and running the Book Fairs will require too many hours and she is looking for a committee to help! If you and your child(ren) love the Book Fair and want to see it continue, please consider signing up to help make it happen!

MILK CAPS FOR MOOLA - We partner with Longmont Dairy to collect their milk caps, and we get a check from them every so often when we turn them in! We are in need of a point person to contact them when our collection bin is full, and coordinate a time for them to pick them up - it's that easy!
