PROJECT NARRATIVE

1) ABOUT YOU: Where are you on your artistic journey?

What is the essence of the work you tend to create? What are the recurring themes, feelings, textures, explorations, curiosities.

What do you envision the work to look, sound, or feel like? What do you feel are its foundations? Are there lived experience, technical desires or a concept etc, that is driving your curiosity?

What is your creative process when you work alone? When you are in communal spaces?

How might collaboration or exchange emerge in your WIP? Which questions are you raising in your work and this project?

What are your needs and expectations for healthy collaboration and/or what does wholesome creative exchange look and feel like for you? In what ways are your practices rooted in relational practices or ethics? Describe how you build collective and collaborative processes, whether through creative collaboration, cultivating accessibility and engagement with a time-bound community gathering such as a cohort, or an audience?

You may submit a bio as a link to a PDF, or submit text directly into the form.

WORK SAMPLES

For your work sample you can submit up to 5 “minutes” of material. Material will be weighted as follows:
> video sample, 1 minute = 1 minute
> audio sample, 1 minute = 1 minute
> visuals, 1 image = 30 seconds
> performance text, 1 page = 1 minute
(For example: you could submit 5 minutes of video or 2 minutes of video, 2 pages of text, and 2 images, etc. The Google form includes spaces for up to 10 links.) Please include the link to your work sample on Vimeo, YouTube, Soundcloud, Dropbox, Google Drive, your artist website, etc. (i.e., no file uploads.) Include a password where applicable.
