[RSVP] PPS 2026-27 Rightsizing Engagements
Portland Public Schools invites families to participate in upcoming engagements as part of the Rightsize. Right Support. Right for Students initiative. We know that conversations about the future of our schools carry real weight for students, families, staff and communities.

As Portland Public Schools continues the rightsizing process, we are committed to creating multiple ways for our community to learn, ask questions, share perspectives and be heard.

Between September and December 2026, PPS will offer several types of engagement opportunities, including formal Public Listening Sessions with the Board of Education, informal Community Connections with select Board Directors, and dedicated Community Voice engagements for communities of color and families of students receiving special education services. Each opportunity may look a little different, but they share a common purpose: creating meaningful ways for community voices and experiences to inform the process.

For more information about the Ways to Engage, please visit here.

We recognize that no single meeting, format or time will work for everyone. Offering different types of engagements throughout the fall is one way we hope to make space for as many voices as possible during a challenging and important moment for our district.

Please use this form to RSVP for the engagement opportunity (or opportunities) that work best for you. Your RSVP also helps us anticipate participation and plan for interpretation and other available accessibility supports.
