Additionally, when we form classes, many important factors are taken into consideration. The highest priority is given to balancing classrooms with regard to number of students and student's academic, social, emotional and behavioral needs. We also consider and work diligently to balance the ratios of boys and girls within each classroom while adhering to district and state guidelines. We are committed to creating a safe and positive learning environment for all.
Due to unforeseen staffing changes, student enrollment and the multitude of factors that go into creating well-balanced classrooms, we can not guarantee placement in any particular classroom, but will do our best to create the most productive and supportive classrooms we can. We do not take specific requests and further ask that you not promise your child a particular teacher, as this can cause them emotional anxiety and disappointment should he or she not get placed in that teacher's class.
