You are about to participate in protecting our youth! We are asking you to call Commissioner Les Miller's office and demand accountability for the 2014 tragic death of 14-year-old Andrew Joseph III. Before you start, we want you to know that Commissioner Miller serves as a board of director on the fairgrounds but has not once made an effort to hold the fair or the police department accountable for their role in this tragic loss. At 14, Joseph was racially profiled, detained, searched and then ejected from the fair. The fair did not make any efforts to call his parents--instead they left him near a highway, where he was tragically struck by an oncoming vehicle and lost his life.
