"Doubt: A Parable" by John Patrick Shanley is a 1964-set drama about Sister Aloysius, a strict Bronx school principal who suspects the charismatic Father Flynn of abusing a young Black student. Without concrete proof, she initiates a high-stakes confrontation, navigating themes of moral certainty, abuse of power, and generational change within the Catholic Church.
