GIS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL APPLICATIONS:

GIS technology can be very useful for scientific investigations, resource management, environmental impact assessment, urban planning, or cartography. This 1-day hands-on workshop will introduce participants to the environmental applications of GIS. The course will cover an introduction to GIS data preparation and processing, and application in environmental field. Each participant will have their own computer workstation to create, edit, display and analyze real world environmental data during numerous hands-on exercises.

Highlights:
1. Utilize the fundamental capabilities of ArcGIS (Importing and creating data layers)
2. Symbolize data layers and select class intervals
3. Conduct overlay analysis (Create intersects, unions and clips)
4. Generate presentation-quality maps

INTRODUCTORY AUTOCAD COURSE FOR BEGINNERS IN ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT:

AutoCAD workshop is designed for beginners. It helps you to become more confident while using the AutoCAD by guiding you through the fundamentals of how AutoCAD works. This workshop gives you the opportunity to create simple plans and drawings in order for you to experience the practical use of AutoCAD.
