Pres, VP, Secretary and Treasurer will be added to the Arizona PTA e-newsletter. Any other optional officers should add themselves via www.azpta.org. Please be sure to add firstname.lastname@example.org to your email's Safe Sender list so you are sure to receive all of our communications. Arizona PTA communicates primarily via email so please be sure to share with us the email you most frequently use and not a group email account so we are sure to reach all the officers on your board. Please don't opt out or you won't receive important updates and information.
Don't forget ALL primary board officers (Pres, VP, Sec, Treas) are required to complete training within 45 days of their taking office. Remember, only one (1) person per board position. Arizona PTA does not recognize co-officers per the Unified Local Unit PTA/PTSA bylaws. The only position where multiple officers are allowed is the position of Vice President. (ie: VP membership, VP fundraising, 1st VP, 2nd VP, etc). Please make sure that there is an order of succession for your VPs in your standing rules if you have multiple VPs and indicate which one is the first VP in the line of succession. Per the unified PTA/PTSA bylaws, President, the First VP, Treasurer, and Secretary are granted voting delegate status at Arizona PTA Convention. All other delegates must receive credential status from their membership shown in meeting minutes.. Units are allowed 1 additional delegate for every 50 members of its PTA chapter at convention.
