Nova Series Opt-Out Form
The Nova Series is designed as a low-stress and enjoyable way for new honors students to be introduced to the University Honors Program and academic inquiry. We understand that some students will have scheduling conflicts or may wish to not participate in this experience. 

Please read this form carefully and submit it if you do not plan to complete the Nova Series. After submission, you will be removed from the Nova Series Canvas page and will not receive further communication on Nova Series lectures.

Alternate Pathway for Completion
If you do not complete the Nova Series for any reason, you will instead be required to complete one additional Honors Experience -- either a non-course experience or an honors course -- to substitute for the Nova Series requirement. This only needs to happen prior to graduation, not in your first year.

Please make a plan to discuss your progress with your honors advisor. You can view your remaining requirements for Honors on your APAS.
