G5/6 English:
This course is designed to provide supplemental at & above grade level work for language arts.  The course will cover close reading strategies (annotating), in-class writing, grammar, and vocabulary work. Different types of writing include Descriptive Writing, Personal/Narrative Writing, Coherent Writing, Expository and Persuasive Writing. Additional homework will be assigned after each class.

Instructor:

Ms. Sabine is an experienced educator. She is a native speaker of both English and French. Ms. Sabine has over 15 years of experience in teaching and program development, with expertise in literature. She has taught students from all grade levels, including preparing them for AP Exams. Ms. Sabine has also trained and supervised new teachers and managed three learning centers with over 300 students in each. She holds an MBA with a concentration in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in French and English Literature, and has completed a teaching credential in English. Sabine is currently working as a High School teacher.

Monday, 5:30-7:00 PM (1/8/24-5/20/24, no class on 2/19/24)
or Wednesday, 5:30-7:00 PM (1/10/24-5/22/24，no class on 2/21/2024)

Tuition: $900 
Registration fee: $30/student
Material fee: $30/student/subject/session
