(we will email you the day prior to the panel with information on how to join the Zoom call; RSVP is required)
Join us for OUT & About| online, an evening with LGBTQ+ artists talking about local LGBTQ+ history, art and activism, and dance as a practice for community building. This evening’s event will be hosted by Matthew Cumbie, and will feature LGBTQ+ community historian Jeff Donahoe (Rainbow History Project), local artist Lady Dane Figueroa Edidi, choreographer Peter DiMuro, and LGBTQ+ advocate and icon Rayceen Pendarvis.

OUT & About| online is a series of engagements by Matthew Cumbie Projects, that builds on the creative body of work Growing Our Own Gardens by Matthew Cumbie, including previous events like Dancing with Pride. These engagements convene LGBTQ+ artists, activists, advocates and historians to connect on local queer histories and community building. We acknowledge and celebrate the previous and continued support of partnering organizations like Dance Place, Dance Exchange, the Rainbow History Project, the DC Center, and the Arcus Foundation.
