In the last 20 years, have you experienced suicidal thoughts in your life? Or have you ever attempted suicide? In those moments, did you turn to crisis services, a therapist, or a friend/family member? What was that exchange like? How did it change the course of your life?

Are you interested in working with the co-founder of The Trevor Project, Academy Award-winning writer, and performer, James Lecesne, and the co-founders of TMI Project, a Hudson Valley based non-profit storytelling organization whose mission is to change the world, one story at a time, in a unique and powerful true storytelling workshop, which will result in a live performance in NYC?

TMI Project and the Trevor Project are looking for stories from LGBTQIA people + allies who have stories of survival to help us celebrate Trevor Project's 20th anniversary this year. If you have a desire to share your story to inspire others who might still be struggling, we want to hear from YOU!

Up to 8 participants will be chosen, all of whom identify as having had a transformational experience as a result of surviving thoughts of or attempted suicide, to come to NYC for a TMI Project true storytelling workshop, which will culminate in a live performance.

Deadline to Apply: June 30
Workshop in NYC: November 1, 2, and 3
Rehearsal: November 4
Performance: November 5
