Cyberbullying Presentation - Questions
Oliver McCracken Middle School will be hosting an informational presentation for parents about Cyberbullying. Cyberbullying is bullying that takes place over digital devices like cell phones, computers, and tablets. Cyberbullying can occur through SMS, Text, and apps, or online in social media, forums, or gaming where people can view, participate in, or share content. Cyberbullying includes sending, posting, or sharing negative, harmful, false, or mean content about someone else. It can include sharing personal or private information about someone else causing embarrassment or humiliation.

Guidance about this topic will be delivered by Sergeant Denise Franklin from the Skokie Police Department on Thursday, December 10th from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m.

A Zoom link will be emailed to families before the presentation, and will be posted in our Weekly newsletter.  If you would like to ask Sergeant Franklin questions about cyberbullying, especially in a remote learning environment, feel free to submit your questions in advance through this form.
