Sugar Bear Foundation College Consulting Scholarship Application for Gold Star Spouses and Children
The Sugar Bear Foundation is offering free College Consulting services for Gold Star/Surviving Spouses (Active-Duty and Service-Connected loss) and children (starting with 8th grade and teens) thanks to the generosity of our scholarship sponsor, RF-LAMBDA.

To Apply for College Consulting, Parent/Guardian, please complete the following:

  • If you haven't already done so, Complete the Sugar Bear Foundation Gold Star Registry Application and provide the required documents such as a copy of the DD1300 or other proof that you are receiving benefits due to your spouse’s death from military service. You cannot move forward in this process without submitting your Registry Application.
  • Electronically Sign this College Consulting Application which includes the Waiver and Release below. (All forms must be electronically signed by Parent or Guardian if child is a minor.)

NOTE: Approval for a College Consulting is subject to availability of Program funds and the schedule of our College Consultant. There is no guarantee your application will be approved.
