Would you like to be part of the team that creates the OSCE Days experience, and learn about the Circular Economy at the same time? The event is organized entirely by volunteers and they are also an essential part of the day itself! Volunteers receive a free pass to the event as well as snacks and lunch! We ask that you offer a minimum of 3 hours over the course of the day and then the rest of the day, you're a participant!
We have several different volunteer roles available and each requires their own unique skills.
Jack of All Volunteers:This role is our most versatile and active role. Members of this volunteer team will help with: registration and greeting participants, setting up equipment, monitoring the snack table, and time keeping, We may also call on this team to help usher participants as the day moves from one segment to another and odd jobs the day of.
Challenge Facilitator:This role is for people who enjoy working with groups to help them communicate effectively and to keep the conversation on track. They are masters of the process and actively help the group achieve what they want to achieve that day. Those wishing to be part of this team must attend a 1 hr orientation session.
Challenge Documentation:This role is all about ensuring that the knowledge and ideas that are exchanged are recorded for the community. They will work with a laptop to create a post on the OSCE forum so that the ideas are as open source as possible. Those wishing to be part of this team must attend a 1 hr orientation session. We want to hear it, and want you to produce it. This team will work with the OSCE Days Vancouver Communications Team to create themes and messaging for the event.
