KAHAL Campus Internship 2019-2020
KAHAL connects Jewish students studying abroad to exciting and unique opportunities in their host Jewish communities. Working in more than 30 countries and 60 cities around the world, KAHAL helps Jewish students find their Jewish home abroad. By connecting with KAHAL, students abroad can connect with each other and the local Jewish communities in which they study abroad. KAHAL further enhances students’ study abroad experience by providing opportunities for social connections, Shabbat dinners, holiday events, cultural experiences, internships, volunteer opportunities, and more. KAHAL also subsidizes Jewish opportunities and offer students grants to plan and participate in Jewish programming abroad. You can find more information at www.KahalAbroad.org

KAHAL is seeking Greek Interns; 2 AEPi, 2 AEPhi, 1 SDT, 1 ZBT, 1 SAMMY, and 1 SAEPi.

Intern Responsibilities

The Greek KAHAL intern will engage and cultivate a community of brothers/sisters studying abroad
Additionally, each intern will be responsible for:
-Communicate bi-weekly with KAHAL Supervisor to create and implement work plan throughout the year
Call brothers before they depart for their abroad destinations to help them get connected before they leave.
Stimulate and track group and individual conversations through the KAHAL CRM: Mobilize
Administer Greek Abroad Instagram account, collecting pictures and stories from various brothers abroad. Also a space to advertise holiday and academic opportunities that KAHAL provides.
Send mass introductory emails to brothers based on location, using mail merges to send personalized emails catering to each location and individual brother.
Plan meet ups with different brothers abroad in major study abroad destinations

The Ideal candidate is a Greek Intern who is a study abroad alum and passionate about their experience and helping other Greek members connect with each other and other enriching opportunities abroad.

Stipend: $250 a semester.

This is a two semester commitment with a stipend of $250 or £200 after the completion of each semester.
