One-day conference for current and aspiring music educators, to broaden access points of music education and promote creativity for all students in every classroom, Kindergarten through University.

Azusa Pacific University, Azusa, California

A Lightning Talk is an opportunity to give a brief, dynamic presentation on a discrete, innovative strategy, approach, practice, or tool for music education. Lightning talks are lively lectures or demonstrations with a hard limit of 10 minutes. The aim is to inspire your audience.

If you are interested in presenting a Lightning Talk at this event, please complete and submit this form by February 9, 2018. We are anticipating 90 total attendees where 6 Lightning Talks scheduled into each of 1 to 3 rooms running simultaneously. Powerpoint/presentational slides will be due to the organizers one week prior to the event, and will be projected for you when you present. Accepted presenters will be provided a "tip sheet" that will assist you in making a successful Lightning Talk.

Accepted presenters will be provided free registration for the conference, including meals. Presenters will be responsible for their own travel expenses.
