Thanks to alumni donors, the School of Design has a limited budget earmarked to support the student experience. This form is only for students who are experiencing hardship in acquiring required materials or supplies necessary to support their coursework in the School of Design. Materials or supplies are those that are consumable. These funds are not for:
- courses and projects external to the School of Design
- transportation
- award application fees
After completing and submitting this form, applicants must notify the Academic Advisor, to discuss your request. The Academic Advisor may contact faculty of the course where you seek support to understand the request more clearly. Your identity will remain in confidence.
While all financial requests are reviewed, not all requests may result in an award. If you are approved and the resources are available, you may either purchase the materials yourself and receive a reimbursement, or the staff in the Design office will order the materials for you within two business days and report the expected delivery time to you. The Academic Advisor and Business Manager will coordinate this process with you.
