Self-Study Option only available for 2025.

No Class Fees.

However, selection to participate in the Class will be prioritized and depend on your responses to all the questions. Invitations will be limited to ensure that all participants will have an assigned mentor to ensure completion of the referee program successfully.

Classes that have concluded

In Person, Hybrid, or Virtual (Only Self-Study Option Available)

Date: Saturday, January 11th 2025
Time: 9 am to 4 pm
Location: Virtual (Zoom) or Fremont, CA (in person) and Madera, CA (hybrid)
In-Person: Lunch and snacks provided

For those who can't attend in-person with the instructor (Eve) in Fremont, a Zoom option will be held at the same date / time. We will also have a hybrid option in Madera where our local Central Valley mentors (Babette and Tom) will project the Zoom class and lead the in person classroom activities.

Would you like to participate in a "shadow a race referee" at a race in 2025 to see what officiating is all about? We will provide you a list of race calendar events and coordinate with you to meet the referee at the race event so that you have an opportunity to learn about what officials do at the races.
