ACX Meetups Everywhere Form (Spring 2025)
We're planning to announce the list of meetups around March 24th. The ACX Everywhere meetups should take place between April 1st and May 31st.

THE VITAL BASICS
This is the information I really need in order to put you on the big list.
Name/Initials/Handle
Some way for me to refer to you publicly, e.g. "Alice is organizing the Berkeley Meetup." If you don't want to use your name and can't think of something better, your initials are fine.

Email address I can give to people who want to contact the organizer. WARNING: This will be posted publicly, and needs to be able to receive emails.

If you especially don't want to use an email, you can put a different contact info here, but email is preferred.

Please give an address and anything else helpful in finding you. For example, if the location is a large park, say "We'll be in the southwest corner, at the picnic tables, and I will be wearing a red shirt and carrying a sign with ACX MEETUP on it."

Please give the precise location of your meetup using https://plus.codes/map. Pick the spot on the map, then copy the url, and paste that url here. It should look like "https://plus.codes/87JC9VCG+7P" - the digits will be different, but it should be the same length

Please pick a date after April 1st, so people have time to see your meetup. Please pick a date before May 31st, otherwise this isn't really a spring schelling meetup.

Any other short notes you want displayed next to your meetup? "Feel free to bring kids/dogs" or "Please RSVP on LessWrong so I know how much food to get." It's fine to leave this blank.

If you require RSVPs, you should say that.

Regular Meetups
Do you run regular ACX meetups or regular meetups of some other kind? If multiple options apply, please chose the first one that applies.

If you have a LessWrong account, what's your account name?
You don't need an account there to run a meetup. LessWrong usually automatically generates events for these meetups, and if I know your account we can make that process smoother for them.
Miscellaneous
Is there anything else I should know about you, your city or group, about what I can do to make the meetup in your city more successful, etc.
What should happen when you hit submit
You should see a message saying "Thank you for offering to run a meetup! I expect you'll receive an email from the meetup coordinator a day or two."

If there's more than one person who's volunteered for your area the most likely thing is the meetup coordinator will introduce you to them via email, along with a suggestion as to who should do it.
