The City of Providence will be hosting the PVD FanZone for the soccer matches and activities taking place this coming June & July for the FIFA World Cup. The Fan Zone will feature live match broadcasts, a beer, wine & spirits garden, local food trucks, soccer activations, and activities for all ages. This event will be free and open to the public. Please read the participating guidelines below and complete the interest form for consideration to participate in the PVD Fan Zone.
THE LOCATION:
Station Park - across from Providence Place Mall and the Providence Train Station. Located at the cross streets of Gaspee, Francis and Finance Way.
DATES & AVAILABILITY:
We will operating the PVD Fan Zone for approximately 30 days during the period between June 11th - July 19th. During this time there are only approximately 9 days "off", when the Fan Zone will be closed.
ACTIVITIES:
- Matches will be streamed on a large screen on the main stage
- Family friendly activities and games
- Food and beverage offerings
- Pop-up activations, sponsor experiences, community resources and much more!
RATE:
The Market Vendor rate is $200 per event date, with each event spanning an average of 9+ hours.
Once your application is accepted, you will be invoiced via Quickbooks for your booth fees.
NO CHECKS or CASH will be accepted.
SET- UP:
You will have to bring your own pop-up tent and it must be white with no branding on it. You can bring any other elements for branding. You will be responsible for providing your own chair and table set-up.
PAYMENT DEADLINE:
Vendor payments must be completed on or before the dates specified, post your acceptance. All vendor fees will need to be paid prior to June 1st. After June 1st your space will be released if payment has not been received. Vendor fees are non-refundable after June 1st.
COI:
Once accepted, a COI that meets certain State & City requirements will be required to complete the set up process and will be shared with you upon acceptance.
Please note, slots are limited at Station Park and we are currently accepting applications for review. Once accepted, we will provide you a full schedule, and you will have the ability to sign up for the dates of your choice.
