FOR THE HONORARIUM FEE, JULIE WILL PROVIDE:

One pre-wedding consultation meeting and get-together (Zoom option available)

Preparation of an intimate & uniquely personalized marriage ceremony, which reflects your wishes, beliefs and personality

Attendance on your wedding day with a lovingly heartfelt performance of your marriage ceremony

Pre-approval of the ceremony script at least ONE WEEK prior to your ceremony. You may make any desired changes at that time. Your ceremony will be created from the information provided on the Ceremony Planning Form (online).

Filing of your legal documents with the proper authorities. You agree to hold me harmless for any failure of the USPS delivery system to deliver the license/s to the registrar’s office after the ceremony. 

Unlimited availability to you via phone, text, or e-mail, etc. as we prepare your ceremony. PLEASE ALWAYS INCLUDE YOUR WEDDING DATE SINCE WE FILE YOUR WEDDING BY DATE

If desired, attendance at your rehearsal (for a fee) if you schedule it early enough for me to hold the date & time for you.

In the unlikely event that I would be unable to perform your ceremony for any reason due to some unforeseen circumstance beyond my control, I will do my utmost to locate a replacement minister for you, and will pay that minister, or failing that, I will lead you through the steps necessary for you to be legally married by another individual. You agree to hold me completely and totally harmless of all liability in such a circumstance. If unusual traffic tie-ups or mechanical breakdowns etc cause me to arrive late for your ceremony, or if I have to leave your event early due to your failure to begin on time, you agree to hold me harmless of all liability as well. The retainer portion of your fee is non-refundable.  Submission of retainer and /or signing the wedding intake agreement, indicates acceptance of all provisions of our agreement, including permission to use your photographs, and or, comments, without your names, on my website.


ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF COUPLE'S RESPONSIBILITIES

If I am attending, you will inform me of the time, date, and details of your wedding rehearsal as soon as you are able.

You must obtain a marriage license in the state in which you are being married. I cannot perform a legal ceremony unless I have a valid marriage license in my possession.

You agree to provide a microphone in large indoor or outdoor ceremony spaces.

You agree to notify me of any change of date or venue for your ceremony.

You both MUST be sober and not under the influence of mind altering substances. You agree and hold me harmless if I refuse to marry you “under the influence" & agree that the determination is solely mine if there are any doubts.

For the safety of yourselves, guests and myself, you agree that outside ceremonies won’t be performed if thunder can be heard or lightening seen. Determination may be mine.

You understand that all materials (sand, wine, goblets, cords, bells, etc.) are your responsibility to provide. You may purchase these online or at any hobby/craft store.

If I am traveling overnight to your wedding site, you will cover the cost of my accommodations, travel and meals.

You agree that your wedding ceremony will begin at the time you have indicated to me, and that if they do not, I may not be able to stay if I have other weddings or that your ceremony may have to be shortened in order to accommodate your late commencement. If I have a wedding scheduled after yours, I have scheduled my calendar to allow time for travel to the next wedding site. Your ceremony needs to begin no later than 15 minutes after your stated start time. I will allow as much time as possible but I may have another obligation to meet and will have to depart in time to meet that obligation. You agree to hold me harmless if I have another obligation and am unable to stay and no funds will be refunded.

You understand and agree that any returned checks or failed credit card payments will incur a $35.00 fee plus reimbursement of any fees I may incur as a result. You give authorization to re-submit any failed payment, plus the fee.

You agree that all pages of this agreement, or a copy of it, constitute our entire agreement and that you are aware of and agree to all of the contents.

You understand that submission of the non-refundable retainer confirms acceptance of the entire agreement stated here. Ceremonies cancelled less than 45 days prior will forfeit all funds, as I will have closed the date to others, for your ceremony.   Your personal wedding ceremony will be crafted and or performed only upon receipt of total amount due.
