Thank you for your interest in becoming a Northeastern Wisconsin (N.E.W.) Master Gardeners Association Associate Member. We hope this leads you to become a certified Master Gardener.
The mission of the N.E.W. Master Gardeners Association, Inc. is to provide horticultural support and leadership to individuals, local organizations and community programs through volunteerism, education and environmental stewardship.
Requirements to join the Master Gardener Association and become an Associate Member:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Participate as a general member of the N.E.W. Master Gardener Association by volunteering in project gardens and standing committees; attending general membership meetings; and participating in N.E.W. Master Gardener activities. An Associate Member is an eligible voting member of the association, and will receive all association communications.
• Must have a willingness to increase gardening knowledge and skills.
• Earn continuing education and volunteer hours.
• Opportunity for a financial reimbursement scholarship in completion of the UW-Ext. Foundations in Gardening online course.
• Follows guidelines of the N.E.W. Master Gardeners Association By-Laws.
