Woodinville High School PTSA Scholarship Application 2024-25

Woodinville High School PTSA is pleased to offer scholarships to three (3) graduating seniors in the class of 2025. The goal of these scholarships is to acknowledge the achievements and contributions of our graduating seniors and make a future investment into tomorrow’s leaders and do-ers.

There are two scholarship categories:

1. PTSA Achievement (2 awards): This award will focus on academic achievement, involvement, activities, financial considerations, outside circumstances, and personal drive. As an applicant, you will demonstrate how you have invested in yourself during your high school career.

2. The Liza Yore Spirit Award (1 award): Our former PTSA president, Liza Yore, modeled a life of community involvement. Not only was Liza an award-wining PTA leader, but she also was a high-achieving fundraiser for cancer research, an enthusiastic volunteer, an athlete and die-hard sports fan, a beloved mother and friend, and a dedicated employee and supporter of Northshore schools. In her memory, this scholarship is designed to highlight the "One Falcon, One Family" mantra.  As an applicant, you will demonstrate your involvement and how you embody "One Falcon, One Family". While academics are an important part of your experience at WHS, the Scholarship Committee wants to award the Liza Yore Spirit Award to a senior who also has demonstrated a positive impact on their school and community. If the achievement scholarship is about how you've invested in yourself in high school, this one is how you have invested in others.

AMOUNT:   Three (3) $2,000 scholarships will be awarded. The scholarship must be used for tuition fees at an accredited two- or four-year college/university, or an accredited vocational school, for the 2025-26 school year. Payment will be made directly to the institution.
