The neighbourhood is bordered by the Kichi Zibi Mikan Parkway to the North, the O-Train Railway Tracks to the East, Scott Street to the South and Parkdale Avenue to the West.
As the Community Association, we take pride in our neighbourhood’s beautiful scenery and rich history. We work with businesses, developers and government to help our neighbourhood grow, thrive, and maintain its unique character.
By becoming a member of MCA, you indicate that you are interested in furthering our purposes, which include:
- To act as a community spokesperson in promoting and protecting the interests of the community.
- To actively participate in the planning and future development of the Mechanicsville area.
- To support and undertake programs that provide for the safety and security of the community.
- To communicate local news and events of interest to the community.
- To undertake and encourage social, recreational, and commercial activities that the Association deems to be of benefit to the community.
- To organize public participation in community issues.
- To make representation to governments.
- To cooperate with other community groups and businesses in the area and in the city.
To complete membership, a payment of the $10 fee is required. Memberships are valid for the calendar year, and need to be renewed annually.
