Questions for Podcast Guests
Hi, thank you so much for your interest in being interviewed on the Adversity to Advantage podcast!

I’m so excited to share real stories in an authentic and vulnerable style with the aim of teaching my audience to build themselves up after a crisis or rock-bottom point.

Please write a review of the Podcast on iTunes so we can impact as many people as possible:

Practical Things to Remember:

I use Skype for recording our interview. We will record on video however the audio file will be posted on my website as well as iTunes, Stitcher and Spotify.
The video interview will be posted on YouTube Channel Real Time Radical:
Put aside 45 minutes for the interview. We will have 10-15 minutes to chat through things and the interview will last up to 30/40 minutes.
During the interview please be aware of your background (preferably a tidy area) and minimise background noise (pets, children, other people etc.)
The interview is not live so don’t worry about making mistakes or a doorbell ringing etc. We’ll be able to edit that out.
Your inbuilt laptop microphone is not sufficient to capture good sound. Please use headphones or if you have a microphone or headset please use that.

Topics to discuss:

• Before the interview please think about the adversity topics you’d like to discuss. Ask yourself these questions:
1. What was your biggest adversity and what has it taught you?
2. How open and vulnerable are you willing to get?
3. What’s the message you want to get out to the world?

• Please look after yourself during the interview by not discussing anything that you would not be comfortable being on a public platform.
• The interview will take an informal / conversational style and will ask these types of questions:
1. What adversity have you faced in your life?
2. Have you experienced a rock bottom or a crash point?
3. What did it feel like when you were in it?
4. When you were at your worst, what do you think it was that helped you get through?
5. What was the first step to shifting your circumstances or your mindset?
6. Who had the biggest influence on your life would you say?
7. How do you think your adversity has played a part in making you who you are today?
8. What difficulties and challenges still show up for you now?
9. What routines or tricks do you use to manage yourself now?
10. What advice would you give to someone going through their rock bottom now

After the interview:

I will let you know 1 week before I publish. Please note there is a backlog of interviews so your interview may not be published immediately.
Once published on my website I will tag you in some posts on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter unless you specifically request not to be tagged. Please share the episode with your own followers / social networks to spread the message as far and wide as possible.
