WCMS School Bus Interest Form 24-25
WCMS is hoping to continue school bus transportation from El Cerrito and Richmond for the 2024-25 school year. As we plan forward, please fill out this survey to demonstrate your interest in a school bus. This survey allows us to figure out the transportation needs of our WCMS community. 

The survey takes about 10 minutes and has 8 questions. The results of the survey will help WCMS plan bus services for the upcoming school year. 

Cost for school bus 

We are currently in the process of obtaining bids for next year's bus contract. We will share the amount of the student bus fee with families as soon as we have confirmed costs from the bus company. We plan to offer reduced fees for students from low income households.

Schedule for school bus

New for the 2024-25 school year, we are planning to add a bus stop at the new middle school campus, there will still only be one bus for each route.

The only bus options available are 5-days a week service. Your student(s) can choose to ride fewer days, but you must pay for the entire week. In addition to a 5 days round-trip option, afternoon-only options will be available. There is NO morning-only route option available.

Grades TK-G5 Elementary Bus Schedule

The draft bus option schedules are:
5-days a week, roundtrip (morning and 2:30pm)
5-days a week, roundtrip (morning and 5:00pm - must be enrolled in aftercare program)
5-days a week, 2:30pm route only
5-days a week, 5:00pm route only
 (It will still be possible to choose to ride Route 1 some afternoons and Route 2 other days depending on your after care schedule and space availability) 

(Subject to change) The ELEMENTARY morning bus schedule is as follows:

7:30am Depart Contra Costa Civic Theatre at 951 Pomona Street in El Cerrito  
7:45am Depart Serra Campus lower entrance at 872 Sonoma Street in Richmond  
8:00am Arrival at the WCMS campus in Pinole
(Bus continues on to middle school campus dropping off gr. 6-7 students at 8:15am)


(Subject to change) The elementary afternoon schedule is as follows (please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to each of the stated times below)

Afternoon ROUTE #1 (Will stop at Middle School in El Sobrante)

2:30pm Depart WCMS Campus in Pinole (1:55pm on Wednesdays/minimum days)
(2:40pm Depart Middle School campus)
2:55pm Depart Serra Campus (2:20pm Wednesdays/minimum days)
3:15pm Depart Contra Costa Civic Theatre (2:40pm Wednesdays/minimum days)

Afternoon ROUTE #2 (for students in the after school program, will stop at Middle School)

5:00pm Depart WCMS Campus in Pinole
(5:10pm Depart WCMS middle school campus)
5:25pm Depart Serra Campus
5:45pm Depart Contra Costa Civic Theatre
