Applications are submitted through the form below. There are three sections to the application: 1) Personal Information2) Proposal3) Previous Projects
For section #2, proposals must include a Project Description and Development Document.
The Project Description must be no more than 4000 max character count and include: 1) what you’re going to do2) how you’re going to do it and why you’re qualified for the work3) the project’s expected results 4) how your project will expand the possibilities of Processing, either through software, community, or both5) how your project speaks to the needs of a specific group, and how it will support the fostering of this community.
The Development Document must be no more than 2000 max character count and include: 1) process of developing project2) timeline of work and availability3) what kind of help and support you need from a mentor4) what resources are required to realize your project, including additional funding, community testing, workshops, etc.5) note any matching funds or previous grants for the project.
Please note that for the Project Description and Development documents, applicants can provide links to files (as .odt, .pdf, .docx, or .txt) in lieu of writing in the required fields.
Application period is open November 14 - December 19, 2018. Selected fellows will be notified by early February 2019. Late applications will not be accepted.
