What is the Doolivanti Diary Demesne Contest?
The Doolivanti Diary Demesne Contest is an interactive way to get students excited about reading by involving them in the release of a novel. A Doolivanti is a child who travels to the Wishing World and transforms into their ideal hero with wondrous powers. This fall, the first 50 classes to sign up for the Doolivanti Diary Demesne Contest will receive a free copy of The Wishing World II: Loremaster six weeks before its official release on November 28 (additional copies available for purchase). There will be common core aligned reading activities relating to the story and the Doolivanti Diary Demesne Contest itself, which will focus on students imagining their Doolivanti Demesne, the domain in which a Doolivanti lives.
