September 11th Beckner Grantee Meet and Greet
The Beckner Advancement Fund is excited to announce our 2019-2020 external grant award recipients centering racial equity and justice in their work in advocacy and organizing, community safety and wellness, health, food justice and access, economic opportunity, maternal and child health, and affordable housing.

Join us for our Grantee Meet & Green RSVP on September 11th from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in Pierce Hall at All Souls Church. During the event you will get the chance to connect directly with our grantees, learn more about some of the most pressing issues facing our city, and ways you can get involved. Please RSVP for the event by September 1, 2019.

We are proud to support the following eleven organizations: Justice for Muslims Collective, the Fair Budget Coalition, Black Lives Matter DC, Dreaming Out Loud, Platform of Hope, Healthy Babies Project, Kindred, Collective Action for Safe Spaces, Trans Women of Color Collective, Empower DC and Bread for the City.

We are grateful to All Souls members Earl and Meta Beckner for the opportunity to fund these groups. The Beckners endowed the Fund in 1973 to create a more collaborative, attractive, and forward-looking community that fosters human rights and dignity in the Washington, DC.
