We are thrilled to announce our upcoming 

community 5K Fundraiser with all proceeds directly supporting SHPE Oregon. This event is more than just a race; it's a vibrant celebration of community, culture, and a powerful step towards impacting STEM education and opportunities for the next generation.

To make this vision a reality, we need YOUR help! We're looking for enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to contribute their time and talents, helping us create an unforgettable experience for all participants. This is a fantastic opportunity to:

• Connect with your community: Work alongside fellow volunteers, corporate ERGs, Latino-owned businesses, and local organizations.
  
• Celebrate Hispanic culture: Immerse yourself in the spirit of Hispanic Heritage Month.
  
• Make a tangible impact: Directly contribute to fundraising efforts that empower SHPE Oregon's vital STEM initiatives.
  
• Gain valuable experience: Develop new skills, meet new people, and add a meaningful experience to your resume.

Volunteer Roles Available (No Experience Necessary – Just a Willing Heart!):

We'll have a variety of roles to fit different interests and availability, including:

• Race Day Support: Water station attendants, registration and packet pick-up, finish line cheer squad, medal distribution.
  
• Event Setup & Teardown: Help us transform the venue and then pack it all up.
  
• Promotions & Outreach: Help us spread the word before the event.
  
• Kids' Activities: Engage with our youngest participants in fun, culturally-rich activities.
  
• And more! We'll work with you to find the perfect fit.
