At The Resurrection Project's Immigration Legal Services Program, we offer a variety of legal services to the immigrant community. These services include: monthly citizenship workshops, legal consultations, family petitions, adjustment of status, green card renewal, consular processing (without waivers) and U-Visas & VAWA's for victims of qualifying crimes and domestic violence.
The Resurrection Project is looking for volunteer's that are committed, empathetic and passionate about helping the immigrant community in Chicago. Volunteer opportunities include:
-Attending monthly Citizenship Workshops, held on a Saturday, in the neighborhoods of Pilsen, Little Village or Back of the Yards. If you are interested in application assistance at our citizenship workshops, you must attend at least one citizenship training (please see below for citizenship training dates).
-Assisting at our weekly DACA Renewal Clinics at our office in Pilsen, every Tuesday, from 9 am - 12 pm. If you are interested in application assistance at our DACA Renewal Clinics, you must attend a DACA training (please see below for DACA training dates).
Once you submit your volunteer application, Rocío Pulido, who trains and coordinates all volunteers with the Immigration Legal Services Program at The Resurrection Project, will follow up via e-mail in one week.
