Google Cloud Hero a game-like experience intended to teach the user to use/build in Google Cloud Platform. Cloud Hero is an in-person fun, interactive, compelling, and competitive experience.

Cloud Hero was designed specifically for cloud professionals responsible for developing, deploying and maintaining large-scale applications and analytics in the Cloud. It is recommended that Cloud Hero's-in-training have experience in the basics of deploying, optimizing, and refining Cloud applications.

Welcome to Cloud Hero, no cloud or GCP experience is required. This game gives you concrete challenges and links to the docs if you do not know about the GCP services. Several of the top finishers of Cloud Hero around the world were GCP newbies!
You do not need to have a current GCP account as an account will be provided.

Google Account needs - you do need to have a Google account or set one up upon sign-in. The sign-in process will guide players to create a Google account if they don't have one. Players can use work or personal email addresses to create their Google account.

Player Hardware and Software - the entire in-game experience for Cloud Hero occurs in the browser so no custom software is needed. Even the gcloud command line steps occur in the Cloud Shell instance in a browser panel.
