El Centro Presents: La Bienvenida 2024
An introduction to your UCSC comunidad/community, meet new and returning students, staff, faculty, a variety of Chicane and Latiné student organizations, and campus resources. Free food, community building, music, and student performances are part of the evening's fun! All students, staff, and faculty are welcomed.

When: Sunday, October 13th 2024
Where: Quarry Amphitheater
Time: 1:00pm - 4:30pm

Bienvenida Tentative Schedule:
  • 1:00-2:30pm: Tabling & Food*
  • 2:15: Mariachi Eterno
  • 2:30pm: Formal Welcome
  • 2:45pm: Student performances and raffles
  • 3:45pm: Baile
*Please note: Campus departments and Latiné student organizations will table for the entire event. Students will visit the tables and then receive a meal ticket after they interact with the tables.
