Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome & Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders in Ireland
This survey aims to gather information from those who suffer with either Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome or Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder in the republic of Ireland. The information used from this survey may be used in the future towards our online petition, which aims to show the HSE that a designated consultant is needed for these conditions in Ireland, as well as a plan of action for dealing with EDS and HSD patients in general. Failing this, financial aid for those who have to travel. Currently many travel to the UK, and do not qualify under the treatment abroad schemes. See our website for more information about this campaign:
If you are completing this survey for more that one of your children or more than one person, please fill in once for each patient. I.E. Do not fill in just once for multiple people. That way we will have exact numbers of those diagnosed.
Please only fill out this survey if:
1. You or you child have been diagnosed with either Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder, or one of the former terms for such conditions (joint hypermobility syndrome, benign JHS, hypermobility syndrome/ HMS, and so on).
2. You currently reside in the republic of Ireland.
