Every year, our congregation celebrates the contributions of recognized community members for their dedication and commitment to the community. This year, we are honoring: David & Debbie Zakar (Chatan/Kallah Torah), Ari & Miki Moskowitz (Chatan/Kallah Bereishit), and Michael & Carmiya Weinraub (Kol Hanearim). We will hear from our honorees with divrei torah over Shemini Atzeret/Simchat Torah, and we will honor them especially with a Simchat Torah Hakafot celebration beginning at 5:30PM on Thursday, Oct 12.

NOTE: This schedule is a response to the challenge of how to eat on Erev Simchat Torah. Last year, we tried an early meal, but it was too soon after lunch for adults. the year before, we had no meal, but people were peeling away early from Hakafot to eat. This is a third experiment and we'll see how it goes! Please also feel encouraged to join us for a second round of Hakafot EARLY on Simchat Torah morning! Davening begins at 9AM, and Hakafot will begin at approximately 9:45AM.
