C.U.L.T. (Critical Understanding of Liturgies and Traditions)  Interest Form
Hello everyone! I am Francesco Rahe, a 2nd year Religious Studies, Fundamentals and NELC major, and I am the president of Critical Understanding of Liturgies and Traditions (CULT, for short). I'm working with Spencer Scott, the Vice President of CULT, a 3rd year Religious Studies and Medieval Studies major. CULT is a new organization under the wing of the Religious Studies program with plans to become an RSO in the future. Our focus is on creating an open space for academic discourse about the philosophy, beliefs, sociology, history and political roles of different religions.

To accomplish this, we will hold a variety of events each quarter under the umbrella of a particular theme. For spring quarter, our proposed theme is 'conflict and religion,' but in future quarters, board members will decide on the theme--which could be anything from 'sin' to 'burial practices.' We are also planning to hold discussion-focused meetings, themed study breaks, and a variety of other events--suggestions are very welcome! Thank you in advance for signing up!
