Sessions are scheduled for the following Wednesdays from 1:15pm to 2:15pm: February 8, March 8 and April 5 in our All Purpose Room (APR).
All children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to the orientation sessions. For insurance and safety reasons, younger siblings cannot attend any sessions. PFA volunteers engage the children in activities in the classrooms, while parents/guardians remain in the APR. There the parents/guardians meet with school personnel including Principal Zupancic, Nurse Dean, our Reading and Math Specialists, and Counselor to become familiar with school routines, expectations and a curriculum overview. At the last session, the children take a brief bus ride around the immediate area (without the parent). In August you will be notified of an additional orientation session held a few days before classes begin in September. At that time parents will be able to meet their child's teacher and visit the classroom as well as have any last minute questions/concerns addressed.
Please fill out this online registration form by February 1st, (please do not use all CAPS). If you do not have a child in this age group but know of someone who does, please share this information.
If you have any questions or concerns, please call Mrs. Macaluso in our Main Office at (732) 671-0267 between 10:00am and noon.
