Deadline for submission of nominees is August 1, 2022.

- Outstanding Youth Award: An individual or youth who has demonstrated excellence, resilience, and achievement.

- Outstanding Agency Award: An agency that has demonstrated outstanding service to children.  

- Outstanding Child Welfare Service Professional Award (state agency): A individual social service worker who has made outstanding contributions while employed by a state agency.

- Outstanding Child Welfare Service Professional Award (private agency): A social service worker who has made outstanding contributions while employed by a private agency.

- Community Partner Award: An individual or organization who has made a significant commitment to making a difference for children and families. This individual can be a volunteer, an advocate, or a board member and must not be employed by a state agency or provider agency. The organization cannot be a state agency or provider agency.

- Legislative Service Award: A legislator who has demonstrated outstanding vision for change and leadership in advocating for children and families at-risk and the providers who care for them.

- Innovative Leadership Award: An individual who has made outstanding recent contributions by supporting and leading their staff and/or agency through innovative leadership, strategic growth, or periods of change. This individual can be a CEO, program director or supervisor, or employed in another leadership role.

- Vision for Children Award: This flagship award will recognize an individual who is an outstanding advocate and visionary for youth. Nominees do not need to be employed in child and family welfare services, but must have a track record of committed service and dedication to improving the lives of children and families.
