SomerVision 2040 Committee Application
Please fill out the information below to express your interest in participating in the SomerVision 2040 Committee (SVC).

In the SomerVision 2030 process there was a 60-person steering committee. We have invited organizations back but realize that even our best attempts might still miss community organizations/constituencies/community groups that want to participate. Deadline for application submittal is January 25, 2018. If you have any questions, please email

Role of the SomerVision Committee
The SVC will likely be the most active participants in the SomerVision 2040 process. They will liaise with their respective organizations, help be ambassadors to get more people involved, and help staff prioritize our 5-year implementation steps. Participation throughout the process is vital. We hope that people interested in the SVC can come to the January 15th public launch meeting from 6-8 at the Armory. However, the meeting will be recorded if that's not possible.

We expect SVC members to participate in the following:

Can you attend the SVC Meet & Greet the first week of February (likely February 7th)
Can you host a SomerSupper (a casual gathering over food with SomerVision 2040 discussion questions in February or early March but hosted at your leisure)
Attend the SomerVision conference (likely April 5th & 6th)
Attend the SVC follow up meeting (likely a weekday evening date TBD)
Tell us why you're interested in being a SomerVision 2040 Committee member.
