The Future Ready Course of Study is the core curriculum for all students with a focus on health, biotechnology, and sciences. Students are expected to take at least one course per year from the following programs: Project Lead the Way Biomedical Sciences, Agricultural and Natural Resources or additional science elective courses beyond the science graduation requirements. Some of those additional science elective courses would be Honors Anatomy & Physiology, PLTW: Principles of Biomedical Science, PLTW: Human Body Systems, PLTW: Medical Interventions, AP Biology, Honors Biotechnology, Honors Marine Science. Students will be assigned an advisor to assist with high school and post-secondary planning throughout their tenure in high school.
Once enrolled, students are committed to one year with the school and must take the core courses offered in the School of Health and Life Sciences. Students are allowed to take JROTC, Business and Technology and any of the Arts course if they are interested. All athletics and clubs are available to students in both schools on the J.F. Webb Campus. Students will not be allowed to transfer to or from J.F. Webb High School during the school year. If a student decides not to enroll for the next year, he/she must complete an exit interview with the principal prior to being released.
The information you provide in this Commitment Form will be used to ensure that our student body is reflective to that of our school’s mission. In order to continue enrollment in J. F. Webb High School of Health and Life Sciences, the student must continue to show commitment to the school’s mission of learning.

Once you start the form you must complete it in order for it to be saved. There are questions for both the student and the parent/guardian to answer.
Students at J.F. Webb High School of Health and Life Sciences commit to:• Follow the Granville County Student Handbook, focusing on respect, honesty, and ethics.• Complete the Future Ready Core or Occupational (if stated in IEP) Course of Study and participate in at least one biomedical, agriculture or extra science course every year for all four years.• Contribute meaningfully to class everyday.• Take responsibility for my own education.• Self advocate and ask for help when needed.• Come to class prepared, ready to participate, and on time.• Have good attendance in school in order to be successful.
Parents/Guardians of a student at J.F. Webb High School of Health and Life Sciences commit to:• Work closely with teachers and staff to monitor my child’s achievement.• Participate in the school community through family nights, conferences, and community service projects.• Understand that participation in my child’s education will help his/her achievement and attitude.
Signatures below indicate understanding and agreement with the commitments above. I acknowledge that all information provided in this Commitment Form is accurate and complete. Any falsification of information disqualifies the student for enrollment. By signing below, I understand that the student must commit to one year with the school.
