NodeXL is a tool for collecting, analyzing and visualizing social media data. Using NodeXL, researchers can create network graphs in an automatic manner. These graphs help in identifying the relationships between people in online social networking sites. By visualizing the connections between thousands of users in these sites, researchers can easily identify clusters and extract useful information from NodeXL generated graphs.
The aim of this workshop is to give an overview of the main features of NodeXL. This will include explaining how to collect data from online social networking sites and use NodeXL features to analyze the collected data.
