UMD College of Information Studies (INFO) Students---join as representatives from Big Huge Games, Data Analytics in Games: How to build a career in games analytics
 
If you are interested in learning about what it is like to work as a games analyst, join Emma Alvarez and Rachel Armington from Big Huge Games for an information session on March 2. Emma and Rachel will discuss the role of the games analyst, the types of tasks that a games analyst performs, skills required to do the job, and what a day in the life of an analyst looks like. They will also describe the structure of the games analytics team at Big Huge Games and other game studios and answer questions about career opportunities.

Speakers are Emma Alvarez, who is the Director of Product Management and Analytics, and Rachel Armington, who is the Lead Analyst.

Big Huge Games is a small, passionate team of experienced game development veterans, proudly located just north of Baltimore, MD. Originally operating as SecretNewCo, the company was founded in March of 2013 by a group of industry veterans (Civilization II, Rise of Nations, FrontierVille). Big Huge Games is dedicated to "Finding The Fun" through rapid prototyping and a focus on a great user experience.
