Hello, friends! This is a form to gauge interest in a new student organization we're initiating: the Museum Studies Network. This is a group for all types of students who are interested in museum work: curation, archives, theory & history, art handling & installation, education, communications, management & administration, and of course artists. Crossing disciplines, skillsets and interests, we want this group to be accessible to anyone who has interest in museum work or just thinks that museums are really cool. This is a group dedicated to pooling resources and providing academic, professional and interpersonal knowledge and experience about the museum field. We want to bring speakers, panels & conferences, field-trips, and career opportunities to students in this group, all while building community.
Because this is a new student organization, we get to shape it democratically. Please fill out this form so we can assess how this group can work for you, and what you would like to see this academic year.
