CCAE Theatricals is excited to announce the opportunity for leaders to join our Board of Directors. Our inaugural board members will play a pivotal role in fostering theatrical excellence, educational innovation, and workforce development. We seek leaders who are passionate about the art of storytelling and innovation in education; visionaries who embody our spirit of creativity, inclusion, and kindness, and who are eager to contribute to a thriving artistic community in north San Diego county through ongoing philanthropic efforts.

Join us in shaping a future where every voice is heard, every story is valued, and every individual can experience the transformative power of the arts.

CCAE Theatricals will be inducting three cohorts of board members over the next twelve month in winter 2023, spring 2024, winter 2024. After the initial 12 months, board recruitment will take place once per year as vacancies arise.

We welcome candidates who are passionate about our mission and posses any combination of the following characteristics:

- Are entrepreneurial and collaborative

- Posses expertise in the areas of finance and/or knowledge and understanding of the arts industry
- Experience serving on nonprofit boards

- Leadership in community building and fostering critical connections
- Passion and track record in philanthropic work

We strongly encourage candidates from diverse backgrounds, particularly those historically underrepresented in the arts. We welcome nominations for candidates of all genders, ethnicities, sexual orientations, socio-economic backgrounds, as well as, military experience and ages. We recognize that this mission is best fulfilled by a board that reflects a wide array of experiences, perspectives, and identities.

We are committed to inclusion and seek individuals who bring diverse viewpoints, cultural experiences, and life stories. Whether you come from a background that is underrepresented in the arts, possess unique experiences that can enrich our board's perspective, or are passionate about advocating for equity and inclusion within the arts and education sectors, your voice is needed at CCAE Theatricals.
