We all know that prospective Malaysian freshmen are all matched with a parent upon entering CUHK. But what goes on after? Often, we find ourselves lost over whether or not to stay in Hong Kong or Malaysia depending on how lucrative our industries are and how to even navigate the "career" part of adulting! We are thus launching an inaugural (career-based) mentorship programme dedicated for Malaysians in CUHK for our younger Malaysians to be better guided and more well-prepared in their journeys.
Mentorship recruitment is primarily open to those from years 3 and up (this is to ensure that you've minimal working/internship experiences; even if you are younger than year 3 but are confident that you have things to offer then by all means, sign up!).
The intensity and frequency of contact and meet-ups will be decided by you and your mentee so no hard rules to follow here. We just hope to provide a platform that merges fun (in terms of being able to get to know a senior/fellow Malaysian well) and professional advice. You don't even have to be in Hong Kong!
