The Student Consultant Program offers Westminster students the opportunity to complete meaningful work for small businesses and non-profits in our community. Through collaborative and integrative learning experiences, students gain first-hand knowledge about the operations of local businesses in areas such as business operations, marketing and communications, finance, event planning, and more.
Student consultant positions are offered during the spring semester (February – April). You will be expected to work 10 hours per week for a single local business. This opportunity is open to students second-year class standing and above from all majors and disciplines.
This is a great opportunity to engage in Westminster’s community relations efforts, create meaningful connections with business owners, and apply the knowledge you have learned in the classroom to real-life situations. Our consultant program alumni regularly remark that this program is a highlight of their undergraduate experience. The opportunity to work with these businesses is competitive. We encourage you to apply early.
